Required Training for Users
All UHMIS end-users must complete the training associated with their user type to gain or maintain access to UHMIS. The UHMIS Lead Agency may determine additional training requirements for the user.
Any person requiring access to UHMIS as a part of the person’s job duties must complete the following before being granted access to the live UHMIS database. While it is recommended that a new end-user follow the steps outlined below, it is not required to follow them in order. Users who need additional training (e.g., administration, shelter staff, etc.) are strongly encouraged to complete this basic new end-user training before starting additional training.1
